Rent to own an apartment in Lakeshore East from NNP Residential for six months or more, and you’ll reap the benefits of our RentBUY™ program by building equity towards the purchase of a condominium at participating developments at Lakeshore East. This innovative program is an opportunity to start building equity simply by paying your rent. Get the best of both worlds…enjoy life as a renter, while investing towards future ownership at Lakeshore East.
It is as simple as:
- Enroll for the RentBUY™ program with a leasing professional.
- Build equity up to 2.5% of the purchase price of your new home at participating buildings at Lakeshore East.
- Contact Leila Zammatta at 312-493-8200 to purchase your condo.
- Resident must enroll in the RentBUY™ program prior to lease expiration.
- Resident must purchase a condo directly from the participating Lakeshore East developments (not a unit re-sale) prior to the date the resident’s lease terminates.
- Resident must be in good standing during their tenancy at Aqua, The Shoreham or The Tides with respect to timely paying rent and all other fees due pursuant to the lease. Resident must also comply with all rules and regulations of Aqua, The Shoreham or The Tides. In addition, Resident cannot default under the terms of the purchase agreement.
- Resident must occupy an unfurnished residence for a minimum of 6 months in order to qualify.
- Resident understands this program is subject to availability of condominium units at participating developments and the availability may change at any time during his/her tenancy.
- Up to 25% of the resident’s monthly rental payment will be applied towards RentBUY™ (not to exceed 2.5% of the base purchase price of the condominium unit, excluding upgrades and parking.)
- Resident may choose from new product (if available) in participating buildings. Resident must identify their status as a RentBUY™ participant at the point of purchase. Contact Leila Zammatta at 312-493-8200 to purchase your condominium or parkhome.
- Individuals that have already purchased a condominium at Lakeshore East who choose to rent at The Shoreham or The Tides are not eligible to participate in RentBUY™. However, they may enjoy flexible lease terms based on availability. Residents that sign a 12-month lease will receive one month free rent to be applied to the last month of tenancy.
- Resident understands the credit will be received at closing and may not be used for a down payment.
- Resident understands there is no cost to this program and Aqua, The Shoreham, The Tides or Lakeshore East may cancel program at anytime prior to the Resident entering into a purchase agreement.
- RentBUY™ applies only to one (1) rental unit at Lakeshore East, and may be applied only to the purchase of one (1) condominium unit within Lakeshore East.
