Getting the little ones to eat healthy (and enjoy it) can be a struggle for most parents, and getting them to help in the kitchen can be even more difficult. With that in mind, Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park will hold a complimentary Kids Healthy Cooking Class to highlight their exceptional Healthy Kids menu at aria, and make meal time a bit more fun.
On Saturday, May 5th from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park and Chef Ronnie, Fairmont’s Official Kids’ Chef, will host a complimentary cooking class dedicated to healthy eating for little ones. The one hour course will cover PB&J Jenga (whole wheat bread, fresh fruit, celery), Grilled Cheese (wheat bread, tomato slices, fries or salad), and Chicken Teriyaki (chicken strips, steamed rice, steamed broccoli, fresh fruit).
Dedicated to offering nutritious options to their tiniest guests, aria restaurant, located within the hotel, offers an extensive menu of good-for-you choices for children, including Sesame Soba Noodle Salad (tofu, cucumber, peanut, sesame sauce) and Chicken Chow Fun (egg, rice noodles, bok choy, sweet soy). The menu also includes special meal options, like Heart Healthy, Diabetes, Vegan, Raw, Macrobiotic, and Gluten Free, for kids with dietary restrictions.
The class is complimentary and is open to the public. Reservations can be made by calling aria restaurant at (312) 444-9494.
