Kristopher Schwengel,
Vice President of Construction

 


Kristopher Schwengel is vice president of construction for Magellan Development Group L.L.C.. He is responsible for all aspects of the company's construction activities. Mr. Schwengel is currently responsible for managing the construction of Park Alexandria, The Lancaster, and The Shoreham.

Mr. Schwengel earned his BS in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana and has held a variety of project management posts. He was involved with the development and construction of the American Queen steamship and with the renovation of the Mississippi Queen steamship in New Orleans. Locally, he worked on the construction of the Chicago Bears' new Halas Hall.

Prior to his involvement with construction management, Mr. Schwengel was an architectural designer with the firm of Neil Wenlund and Slomka Architects where he worked on projects ranging from custom residential homes to regional shopping centers.
