The Regatta is the second condominium tower that was completed in Lakeshore East, a 28-acre master-planned community. The design of the building was collaboration between Loewenberg Architects and DeStefano + Partners.
The cast-in-place structure sits on deep foundations and finishes of architectural brick, granite, an aluminum curtain wall and aluminum composite panels clad the exterior. In order to complete the design, the curved curtain wall extends more than 20 feet above the main roof surface. Residential unit heating and cooling is achieved by a 4-pipe vertical fan coil system. The Regatta’s 44-story tower's dual elliptical glass curtain walls dramatically encircle the building, reflecting the surrounding blues of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan.
These elegant surroundings are matched only by The Regatta's array of Shore Club amenities. From an indoor swimming pool to a rooftop garden and theatre room complete with surround sound, The Regatta offers residents a home filled with convenience and luxury.
