Laura Buel, CPA,
Chief Financial Officer

 


Laura Buel is the chief financial officer of Magellan Development Group L.L.C.. Both a CPA and an attorney, she supervises all accounting and cash management functions, procedures, construction draws and financial projections for all company projects.

Ms. Buel previously worked as senior accountant with Ernst & Young, planning, supervising and completing financial audits of publicly held companies in the banking, real estate and not-for-profit industries. She has served as corporate controller for the Prime Group, supervising all accountant operations and financial reporting of real estate development and property management companies. Ms. Buel was also corporate controller with Cohen Financial Corporation, where she managed the accounting staff and directed all accounting operations including reporting, budgeting, and cash management.

Ms. Buel received her Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Mary's College, University of Notre Dame and her JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
