Spring Half Marathon header
On May 17, 2009, Magellan Development hosted the first annual Magellan Development Spring Half Marathon and 10K Junior Dash in the park at its Lakeshore East neighborhood. 2,500 participants and their families enjoyed a beautiful day and lots of fun activities hosted by Magellan and other sponsors.

Lakeshore East is a community of luxury high rise condominiums and apartments created by Magellan Development. This neighborhood was developed on 28 acres just west of Lake Michigan and adjacent to Millennium Park, and boasts a beautiful 6 acre park and Aqua, the award winning, 82 story luxury rental, condominium and hotel building now opened by Magellan Development.
