- A New Angle – Until July 3rd, Schneider Gallery, 230 West Superior Street — This exhibit will feature portrait photographs from multiple artists, whose subjects range from friends to distant relatives from Saudi Arabia to rockabilly musicians. The following exhibit starts July 9th. Entitled Easy Acquisitions: New Discoveries from Around the Globe, it will feature five energetic young photographers from all over the world exploring their own, unique points of view.
- Starbucks Saturdays – Every Saturday, 11:00- 12:30 p.m., 720 N. Franklin – Just started exploring River North and don’t know where to start? Luckily, the good people at Chicago Gallery News have created Starbucks Saturday, a free walking tour of the galleries of River North. This tour provides a detailed survey of some of the most prominent galleries — whether you’re a visitor to the neighborhood or live in or close to River North, this tour is great for even a casual art lover.
